Dr. Groch grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, and attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE where she majored in Exercise Science and minored in Dance. She then attended Washington University in St. Louis where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.

Since relocating to the peninsula in 2019, Mandy has worked in pediatrics serving both Monterey and San Benito Counties. Mandy’s excitement for serving local families and her creative treatment style grows with every child she meets. She approaches each child as a unique new challenge with unique treatment needs. Watching her patients meet new milestones and achieve new goals continues to fuel her passion for her field. Mandy is a strong believer that pediatric physical therapy should look and feel like play, all while optimizing movement patterns to set the child up for future success.

When she is not working, Mandy can be found adventuring with her dog and husband. She loves to explore all that the Monterey Peninsula has to offer from hiking and beach time to trying new local restaurants. Mandy is excited to join the Balance Physical Therapy team, and she is so grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference in your child’s life!
