Dr. Moncef Bouzar
PT, DPT
As a former collegiate soccer player, Moncef Bouzar’s passion for movement and performance laid the foundation for his journey to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

Dr. Bouzar earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Whittier College, where he played on the men’s soccer team. He went on to receive his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Chapman University. During his time in school, he also became a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), deepening his understanding of strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, and human performance.

Clinically, Moncef has a strong interest in orthopedics, with a particular emphasis on motor learning and motor control. His treatment approach centers on the individual—placing focus on each patient’s goals and unique experiences. He believes that lasting progress comes from understanding the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

Rooted in Algerian heritage and shaped by a rich Francophone cultural influence, Moncef brings a diverse perspective to his practice. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys staying active, playing sports with friends and spending time exploring the hidden gems of the central coast.
