Dr. Armer grew up and currently lives in Prunedale. She started college at Hartnell in Salinas, competing on the Cross Country and Track and Field teams, where she broke the school record for the 3000m Steeplechase. She then received a Cross Country and Track and Field scholarship at California State University, Fresno where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy in 2008. She then attended Loma Linda University and graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013.
After graduating from Loma Linda University, Meredith started her career as a physical therapist in Monterey, CA. Now she is excited to be working closer to home in Prunedale. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve the highest possible level of function, using primarily manual therapy techniques and customized exercise programs. She also has her Certification in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. This method uses a system of diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal disorders of the spine and extremities that emphasizes patient empowerment and self care.
Meredith continued running after college and competed in several races including marathons and triathlons, the longest being a Half Ironman. She currently enjoys water sports, running, biking, and is a member of a local Schutzhund club.
