Dr. Stephanie Vargas is a Watsonville native and has returned to the West Coast to begin a career as a Physical Therapist. Stephanie graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Rehabilitation Sciences. Then, she began working as a Physical Therapy Aide at Movement for Life Inc. in Capitola, CA, where she solidified her passion for Physical Therapy. In 2024, she earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University. During her time at Ohio University, Stephanie completed various clinical rotations in multiple settings.
Stephanie is deeply committed to providing optimal patient care. She uses manual therapy techniques and designs individualized exercise programs for patients with varying functional abilities. Besides working with patients who experience musculoskeletal injuries or post-surgery, Stephanie is interested in Parkinson’s disease and has become a certified LSVT BIG clinician. She is also interested in vestibular rehabilitation, and she works with patients who experience dizziness and balance impairments.
Stephanie’s life outside of work is just as vibrant as her professional one. She enjoys staying active at the gym, taking leisurely walks by the beach, indulging in brunch, attending family gatherings, and watching Gordon Ramsey on TV. Stephanie también puede hablar español.
